AustroCham Heurigen 2026

There’s one night a year when Hong Kong’s calendar makes room for something wonderfully Austrian. The suits loosen up, the wine comes out, and a green lawn turns into a little corner of Austria for the evening. That night is the AustroCham Heurigen, and it’s back.

What’s a Heurigen?
Back in Austria, a Heurigen is a wine tavern where friends gather under the open sky to share the season’s wine, hearty food and good company. No pretense, just Gemütlichkeit, that warm comfortable feeling that doesn’t quite translate but everyone recognizes the moment they are in it. For one evening every year, we bring that tradition to Hong Kong.

This year: Thursday, 19 November 2026, on the lawn of the Hong Kong Country Club

Wrapped in the green of Deep Water Bay with the sea just beyond, you can expect crisp Austrian wine, generous Austrian food, our lucky draw, and 100+ friends old and new. Dirndl and Lederhosen are very much encouraged; a good mood is the only real dress code.

A special highlight of the evening will be the fashion show by Schürzenliebe by Sabine Linke. The Austrian designer will present a collection of traditional Austrian clothing paired with hand-painted, one-of-a-kind pieces, from the classic apron to the dirndl, showcasing how Austrian craftsmanship and contemporary design come together.
