German Speaking Day at PolyU, 12 March 2024

On 12 March 2024, the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong hosted a special event called “German Speaking Day”. The Austrian Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong & Macau participated in the event, and one of its esteemed members, Alfred Buchner, Managing Director of 2G Station Hong Kong Ltd., took part in a roundtable discussion. Representatives from the German and Swiss Chambers in Hong Kong also joined the conversation.

During the engaging discussion, various topics were explored, shedding light on the current state of DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) companies in the GBA and the opportunities and challenges they face.

The roundtable discussion lasted approximately 40 to 45 minutes, providing an insightful platform for students to enhance their knowledge and interest in DACH companies. 

By fostering knowledge and interest in DACH companies, the event aimed to inspire students and create awareness of the exciting opportunities within this industry.
