A big thank you to the Hong Kong Office of the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province for organizing this informative and meaningful two-day inspection to Shaoguan, and for granting AustroCham Members the privilege of participating in the Hong Kong Business Delegation to the city.

Being one of the eight national hubs of the computing power network in the “East Data, West Computing” strategic plan, Highlights of this action packed Shaoguan City visit included:

– Meeting with local leaders at the GBA Data Application Industrial Park
– Private tour to cutting-edge facilities like the China Telecom GBA Integrated Data Center and South China Equipment Park
–  Visits to leading companies in steel, agriculture, and biotechnology

This two-day inspection was concluded with the dedicated forum and meeting with Shaoguan government officials, as well as Guangdong Provincial  government officials. We thank our members again for being part of this exciting “GBA  Adventure” and we look forward to seeing more of you next time.
