The EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR, Regulation (EU) 2025/40) has applied across the EU since 12 August 2026 and is being rolled out in phases through 2030. The restriction on PFAS in food-contact packaging already applies. Upcoming requirements include recyclability rules, recycled content targets for plastics, packaging minimisation, new labelling obligations, Declaration of Conformity documentation and EPR registration in each EU member state.
The webinar gives an overview of the key obligations, timelines and practical steps to stay compliant. It is relevant for anyone in manufacturing, importing, retail, product design, sustainability or regulatory affairs.
